FAQ

Need to Know

We have pulled some of the most frequently asked questions from our customers and compiled them all into one place. Should you have any other questions that we may have missed, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Do You Offer Classes?

No.

However, those looking for instruction may contact Myles Jeffers (info@lifttofino.ca) for Athletic Performance Training or Functional Strength Training. I hold all Private and Personal Training out of The Lifter's Studio. Additionally, you may contact Rachel Viruete (viruetefitness@Gmail.com) for Personal Training and she works on the main gym floor of Lift!

Free weights:
We have 2 squat racks and 1 smith-machine. We do not have a bench-press station. We have a space for olympic lifting and powerlifting with lots of bumper plate and iron plates. We have three olympic barbells, 1 female olympic barbell, and a solid-ass set of dumbbells ranging from 5-100lbs. As far as Kettlebells; 2 x 24kg, 1 x 20kg, 2 x 16kg, 1 x 12kg, and some stragglers. We also have a straight bar set which ranges from 10-110lbs in increments of 10lbs. We have a preacher curl-station, and an ez-curl bar. You will also find a 'landmine' attachment.

Machines & Cables:

We have a classic cable machine on which you can perform both crossovers and pushdowns. We have a lat-pull-down machine, seated cable row machine, hamstring curl machine, quad extension machine, seated shoulder press, and seated chest press.

Cardio & Conditioning:
For those of you into serious conditioning we have a Rogue Echo Bike and a Concept 2 Rower. We also have two elliptical machines, and three treadmills.

Space Considerations:
Besides having no windows, we have one other major flaw. Even though we are proud to be one of the only basements in the area, our roof height means we cannot accommodate a full crossfit workout if it involves rings, wall balls, or bar muscle-ups. It is also difficult to skip in our space. Please be warned, that f you are quite tall (over 6'2"), you may not be able to perform a barbell press or push press on our platform.

What Equipment Do You Have?

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED ENTRY?

You must be over the age of 16 to enter Lift without parent supervision. Due to the unsupervised floor space of Lift, to uphold safety standards minors are not allowed on the premises.

Exceptions are made for clients of The Lifter's Studio.

Do You Offer Guest Passes or Drop-Ins? What is your shortest membership?

Out shortest membership option is 1 month. We do not offer daily, weekly, or any membership less than 1 month at this point.
